caulfield12
No way they play in Columbus. Collins a homer but 23 k's in 61 ab's. At least he walks. Basabe two hits already. Tanner Banks doing well.

daggins
Jordan Guerrero is doing some weird stuff. He is striking out a ton of hitters and also getting hit v hard.
ChiliIrishHammock24
http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Basabe - 2/4, 3B. Avg up to .263 as he is hitting .303 over his last 11 games. Collins - 1/4, HR, ONLY ONE STRIKEOUT!! WOO! Collins did however allow 3 bases to be stolen out of 3 attempts. I think that's like 11 SB out his last 11 attempts. He's broken. Ozzie for Manager
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 28, 2017 -> 07:28 PM) No way they play in Columbus. Collins a homer but 23 k's in 61 ab's. Tanner Banks looked very good tonight and was still strong into the 7th inning. Collins hit a nice HR to left center, on another AB hit a hard line drive right to the SS. Basabe was impressive, hit one in the gap for a triple, then a single up the middle. Had a deep flyout too and he is very fast on the bases when he gets going. Lots of talent there. Brady Conlon also had a nice night at the plate and hit the ball hard. Also made some nice plays at 3B and showed a strong arm. And Aaron Schnurbush threw my son a ball before the game which was cool so we are big fans. He is a big boy. Saw a play I have not seen before. Pop up halfway down first base line in foul territory, player missed the ball completely and it landed and rolled about 2 inches into fair territory. The Dash player Ronald Bueno ran from the get go and ended up on second. That is why you run everyone out.

Last year he got hit and his K rate was way down. this year, the K rate is back up to his standards, but he's still getting hit. BlackSox13
Guerrero's walk rate is way down from last year so throwing more strikes should lead to more hits and K's.
OmarComing25
He's only given up 1 homerun so it doesn't seem like he's getting hit hard. Looks like he's a victim of a .444 BABIP and a 51% LOB%. Currently a 5.31 gap between his ERA and FIP, that's pretty crazy.
