Coveys leaving everything center cut in the middle, batting practice pitches, offspeed pitches with zero deception, how they have not scored yet is beyond me.

He is not good, I would much rather see Danish or Fulmer come up

They just had one of their worst offensive months in franchise history

Centerfielder has to take charge there. Unfortunately, Leury doesn't have much experience as an outfielder yet.

And he is not going to learn it if he gets benched after a bad play in a rebuilding season. This is exactly what we should all be expecting and OK with this year if you are wanting to see the rebuild.

I don't know what to think of Garcia moving forward. He doesn't have to hit that much to be a decent player. He does a lot of other things well. If he hits a lick he could be a valuable bench piece. If he could hit with any consistency at a .270/.320-ish rate he's a better version of Emilio Bonifacio with four more years of control.

It's a Hawk thing to say but Saladino really is a smart baseball player. That Anderson bloop gets caught 99% of the time but Saladino shuffle up half way, didn't commit and read it all the way. He just barely beat the throw in to the 2B. A lot of baserunners take that play off.

I like that comp, though if his early power is any indication, he might have a bit more pop than that.

Agreed. I think Leury is going to be fine out there once he gets more outfield experience. He has been mostly an infielder thus far in his career.

Agreed on both.

Frazier is a nice BABIP run away from having a real nice triple slash. Currently at .183/.306/.417 with a .182 BABIP. Lots of pop-ups don't help that but he's also been quite unlucky. If he can manage to get to something like .240/.345/.450 he could be a nice piece at the deadline.

Coveys is lucky to just have given that up

He's got to be one of the most mediocre starters the Sox have had in a while. Oh well, just needs to give innings while Rodon gets his arm amputated
