SoxAce
That whole Knights lineup just looks like they're brimming in confidence. Even Engel looks dangerous. Just missed a HR by inches.

WhiteSoxfan1986
Not sure how accurate this radar gun is but Giolito's only throwing 88-
SoxAce
QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ May 3, 2017 -> 10:34 AM) Not sure how accurate this radar gun is but Giolito's only throwing 88-90 Minor league gun is a touch slow, but he isn't throwing 95+ out there. No idea why they aren't calling for his curveball more.

daggins
QUOTE (fathom @ May 3, 2017 -> 10:48 AM) Giolito really sucks. So many excuses made for him being a disaster Not ready to give up on a 22 year old former top prospect just yet. He clearly isn't right but it's a long season. TheTruth05
QUOTE (fathom @ May 3, 2017 -> 10:48 AM) Giolito really sucks. So many excuses made for him being a disaster I know he isn't fixed yet like we all thought he would be but this is still premature,no? disaster? cmon. fathom
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 3, 2017 -> 04:50 PM) You've just been waiting to say this, haven't you? I liked the Eaton trade, but to me he looks like the same exact pitcher who had a fastball that got destroyed in the majors. He seems to be a major reclamation project now, which I doubt Hahn had in mind.
Rowand44
QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ May 3, 2017 -> 10:52 AM) I know he isn't fixed yet like we all thought he would be but this is still premature,no? disaster? cmon. It's SUPER premature. Look, the velocity is absolutely a concern and something to pay attention to but it's also not as crazy bad as fathom has been going off on lately. He could be working on stuff, he could be trying to get his mechanics straight or he might just be off to a really bad start. All I know is he's a 22 year old in AAA who has had success in the past and whose breaking ball is at least missing bats at the moment. He's a project at this point but to call him is a disaster is even too fathom-y for fathom.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ May 3, 2017 -> 10:49 AM) They do...just DFA TrAsche. Even if they do that, Davidson should get the at bats. Once there is an injury or they trade Melky or Frazier, they'll have room for every day at bats for both.
fathom
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 3, 2017 -> 04:57 PM) It's SUPER premature. He could be working on stuff, he could be trying to get his mechanics straight or he might just be off to a really bad start. He's a project at this point but to call him is a disaster is even too fathom-y for fathom. It's not even just the velocity, but just going by the hard contact off of him this year, it doesn't appear his spin rate has drastically improved. The swings that the opposition gets off the fastball are scary.
flavum
I'll take Lopez as a great closer and Dunning starting the 3rd or 4th playoff game in 2020. That's still a good trade.
