ChiliIrishHammock24
May or may not be influenced by substance, you be the judge. But yesterday's Miley/Ynoa switcharoo by the Orioles really screwed over the Sox since they stacked their line-up with righties, but ultimately had to face a RHP once Miley got hurt, and stool no chance. So what if when a team has a L/R back to back in a rotation, and a day off sprinkled in there, that team starts one of those guys, force the other team to stack their line-up, then switch to the other pitcher after 1 batter. Do that as many times as you can with the back end starters, and steal a few games. I'll hang up and listen.
oldsox
Been a possibility forever. But, the other team will see who is warming up, and they can adjust their lineup accordingly.
Middle Buffalo
Simple rule: If Joe Maddon does it, it's brilliant. To my knowledge, Joe hasn't done this move. Therefore - preposterous suggestion.
SCCWS
QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ May 7, 2017 -> 09:34 AM) Simple rule: If Joe Maddon does it, it's brilliant. To my knowledge, Joe hasn't done this move. Therefore - preposterous suggestion. Most good teams don't care since their core starters are good enough to face any pitcher. They probably rotate 1 position on L/R situations.
