Beck is a disappointment. High hopes when drafted. He looks like meat.

Was he really a second round pick? Or am I mistaken? I hate the draft.

He was but he completely tanked his draft season which caused him to fall that far. It has nothing to do with draft slot like you refuse to acknowledge

How could Saladino miss that pitch? I guess he's not as good as I thought. League musta caught up with him. He can't hit. I was fooled. Really thought he was a big league hitter.

He's a homegrown Sox position player. That's like being shocked that a Browns QB sucks

Do you think baseball is getting boring with more and more horrible teams? Is baseball near a hitting crisis? I have the Royals game on TV here and the Sox on the computer and Perez slashed a ball right up the middle. DP because of the shift. Players won't even try to beat the shift.

If I come to a game or two this summer, what's my best bet for great great seats at a low price? I need the Southside ballpark experience again.

Greg, homers are WAY up in baseball this year.

The problem's not offense, it's your perception, because the White Sox and Royals are terrible offensively.

It's like taking a point about the Big 12 in football or basketball and attempting to extrapolate it to the rest of the country. Be careful about your bias.

As far as "terrible" teams, there's simply a lot of parity, a few days ago 18 out of 30 teams were between +3 and -3.

MLB is happy, the Yankees are on the upswing with a potential marketable star in Aaron Judge, the Cubs are the Cubs, the Red Sox are competitive, the Dodgers will be in the playoffs again...the only issues are resolving the stadium problems in TB/St. Petersburg, Oakland and what happens with the Marlins' franchise.

I did not realize that, Caulfield. Thanx for the facts. I have watched some boring ball this season.

Well it was dog day at the park based on the pictures of the pets I saw...and the Sox played like dogs.

Jennings is rapidly lowering himself into being as bad as Pelfrey / Covey and Beck.

Keep reminding yourself it's rebuilding and break out the tapes / DVD's from better seasons.
