Rowand44
"who in the world is Jeff Gelalich?" Literally my exact thought when I saw his name in that article. Edited May 11, 2017 by Rowand44

LittleHurt05
The Sox got Jason Bourgeois back? I know he had made it back in the majors with Cincy for a while. He's a perfect example of "You can't steal first base".
bmags
Shows how much these guys love playing ball players when they'll still get on the bus at 35 to play close to pro ball as you can get.
chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 11, 2017 -> 07:59 AM) An overview of all the 1st, 2nd and supplemental round picks who are currently playing in the White Sox minor leagues. There's quite a range of results here, making for an entertaining look. I was drunk last night and googling Keon Barnum, the article on him I read noted that the last time Chicago drafted two HS kids (Hawkins and Barnum) with their 1st two picks neither made the major leagues. If the names Tony Menendez and Tom Hartley don't exactly resonate with White Sox fans, it's probably because neither of these two players ever reached the Major Leagues. Menendez, a pitcher, and Hartley, an outfielder, were the top two White Sox picks in the 1984 First-Year Player Draft, marking the last time the South Siders selected two high schoolers with their opening selections. Hatchetman
Menendez played in the majors. 29 innings with three different teams.
Ozzie for Manager
Love the comet about Borgoueis. Like a comet he is back 10 years later. Thanks for the laugh.
