flavum
Fulmer gave up a solo shot to Winker. Garrett leaves after two innings.

BlackSox13
Ha ha, there's a blast from the past. Just looked at the Kanny box score and noticed Shawon Dunston Jr in the lineup for Augusta. I have to give Fulmer credit. I didn't expect him to rebound this quickly. Looks like he's doing a better job of throwing strikes and it's paying off. SoxAce
Fisher had to leave the game for Kanny. Hopefully nothing serious.

Seeing Fulmer succeed like this shows that it isnt too late for Giolito. Edited May 13, 2017 by reiks12
flavum
It's good that Fulmer can get outs when he gets in trouble, but the question is will he be able to do that in the majors? Hopefully in the near future, he'll get that experience.

Exactly, Fulmer lost a lot of status after last season but so far has been pretty damn good this year.

I refuse to get down on Giolito when he's just going on 23. Too young and in the middle of making changes to pass judgement on just yet. But yeah, Fulmer is looking like the clear front runner ( for the time being ) to be the first called up. Lopez and Giolito still have control issues to work on. Who was the last White Sox player to get 200 hits? Did young Mags do it?
