Flash Tizzle
Seeing them celebrate this win only makes our imperfections and implosion within a wake stand out more. These next couple days (until the playoffs begin) will be hell for White Sox fans living in Chicago. Cub fans lighting off loud fireworks near my house. :fyou :finger :fthecubs

The Critic
Teams that over-celebrate getting INTO the playoffs are NOT going to be celebrating at the end. Florida....DEAD Lovable Losers....DEAD SO happy just to get there....enjoy the time until the Braves and Giants take you to school.... Florida....DEAD Lovable Losers....DEAD SO happy just to get there....enjoy the time until the Braves and Giants take you to school.... Those two teams were not supposed to make the playoffs and those two teams didnt make it into the playoffs until the very end. Of course their celebartions are stronger. What WILL keep them from moving on is less talent.
Flash Tizzle
The Cubs celebration just cut into the White Sox game. Its on practically every station, atleast leave the game on.
SuperSteve
Damn Astros, they couldn't help. This sucks. f*** the Cubs. :fthecubs
Dick Allen
I'm trying to figure out why WGN pre-empted the Sox game to show this celebration. Its seems to me the people who were tuned into the Sox game would be the last people who wanted to see this.
Flash Tizzle
Dick Allen, I agree with you on that. Even though the game doesnt matter, there will be some pissed off sox fans.
Flash Tizzle
WGN probably felt our frustration. Its now a splitscreen. Wait, now its back to the Cubs. :fyou I hope KW is watching this and crying.
Dick Allen
I could understand a little coverage, but to talk to drunk Cub fans is really pissing me off. The probably had to be prepped before they went on camera, and told what just happened. Put the game back on Bozo.
Bmr31
All I have to say, everyone should be more pissed for the Sox NOT making the playoffs, then the Cubs MAKING it. Yeah all this does is make me sad that we arent there, considering we have more talent that the cubbies.
DonkeyKongerko
All I have to say, everyone should be more pissed for the Sox NOT making the playoffs, then the Cubs MAKING it. I am. Watching this coverage does not make me pissed at the Cubs. It makes me wonder why my team has had no heart this year. I think of Jerry Manuel's banner on the top of this page, deer in the headlights looks, and dead ppl sitting on the bench. I see dead people. The Critic
All this means is that I don't watch the NL playoffs, because the only team I like ( FLA ) has ZERO chance of advancing, unfortunately. It'll be nice to be able to focus on the AL playoffs.

The Cubs haven't won a division since '89 until today. And, until today, the second oldest ballpark in the ML's never saw a division clinch either Pathetic. I have trouble hating someone who battles all the health problems he has, loses both legs, and still puts on a strong face and does his job and doesn't ask for pity.
