SouthSide2004
Would love to see a strong start from Lopez today. Would be nice if he forced his way into the major league rotation before the end of June.

bjm676
Probably will be Tyler Danish as 26th man. Just a hunch.
BlackSox13
QUOTE (bjm676 @ May 21, 2017 -> 10:36 AM) Probably will be Tyler Danish as 26th man. Just a hunch. Danish would make much more sense as the 26th man for a day than Lopez. Lopez shouldn't be called up until the Sox create space in the rotation for Lopez to pitch every fifth game. Good call on Danish.
flavum
6 up, 6 down for Lopez. Danish currently scheduled to start Thursday, so yes, that could change.
daa84
Didn't quite realize how solid Lopez's overall numbers are. its funny when you follow these guys on a start to start basis, its some times hard to see the forest for the trees.
caulfield12
No strikeouts in first seven outs...that's weird. But even better, no walks. Called him out, so #8 in a row is strikeout swinging. Whole organization on fire after Robert deal I guess. Or not, two consecutive batters reach...ground ball and line drive singles. Gets Giavotella with strike three called. Just 38 pitches, pretty economical for Lopez. Edited May 21, 2017 by caulfield12

flavum
If the service time issues are out of the way, my hope is he starts Friday and then replaces Covey.

Especially for someone that isn't an uber prospect like Moncada, I agree.
