Jose Abreu
Chicago White Sox @whitesox Prior to today’s doubleheader, the #WhiteSox placed Tyler Saladino on the 10-day DL with back spasms and recalled outfielder Adam Engel.

ron883
I'm excited about him, but remain skeptical. Hitting only .221, but am OPS of 775. 8 homeruns. Has been unlucky with a babip in the .260s.
Bob Sacamano
Play him everday.
Springfield Soxfan
Engel is supposed to be a pretty good defender right?

elrockinMT
Hopefully we get a chance to see him in today's DH
Lip Man 1
Saladino remember had disc issues in his lower back at the end of last season and through this off season. Those really never go away even with surgery (and I don't know if he had surgery or not). That's a bad situation to have for a professional athlete. greg775
QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ May 27, 2017 -> 04:29 PM) Saladino remember had disc issues in his lower back at the end of last season and through this off season. Those really never go away even with surgery (and I don't know if he had surgery or not). That's a bad situation to have for a professional athlete. Feel sorry for him. His salad days are over as a big leaguer. No longer a prospect after this season's flop at the plate.
Heads22
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 27, 2017 -> 12:06 PM) Feel sorry for him. His salad days are over as a big leaguer. No longer a prospect after this season's flop at the plate. Uh, he's gonna be around this team for a bit yet as a utility guy
caulfield12
Crede, Hermanson and Jenks say hello...Jim Thome as well, on the back issues. Started to bother Konerko late in his career, too. Edited May 27, 2017 by caulfield12
MnSoxFan
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 27, 2017 -> 05:14 PM) Crede, Hermanson and Jenks say hello...Jim Thome as well, on the back issues. Started to bother Konerko late in his career as well. Ron Hansen (60s), Bill Melton, Bart Johnson and Eric Soderholm were some folks from a bit longer ago who also had careers basically end due to bad backs. The Sir
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 27, 2017 -> 10:06 AM) Feel sorry for him. His salad days are over as a big leaguer. No longer a prospect after this season's flop at the plate. He's no longer a prospect because he's 27 and has played in 191 games over three seasons.
