May 30th Game Thread: ChiSox vs. BoSox

There's the risk in having kept Q. Either he would get injured or he would suck. He sucks, and now we're stuck with him.

I'm glad we turned down the package built around the 20 year old with a .900+ OPS at high-A, just because it didn't include Joe Musgrove. Put that on your resume, Rick.

We have no idea what they offered. All indications are the packages sucked

Is Luhnow really going to admit that he almost traded Kyle Tucker for Q now?

We'll never know, unless someone hacks into their database again.

I love how people just criticize just for the hell of it. No one knows what teams offered. Hahn was selling high. ITS WHAT HE SUPPOSED TO DO!!!! Some just wanna trade to make a trade

The good news is that since his implosion year with the Sox, Samardzija has been pretty good. Pitchers have bad seasons quite often and bounce back from them, and nothing indicates any injury problems with Q. So there's a good chance he is not broken forever.

Outside of his W/L record, his numbers are actually pretty good this year.

The Giants just suck, other than Posey and an injured Bumgarner. They'll probably put both Cueto and Shark on the market and see who bites.

What if Tim Anderson sucks?

Well, that would be a terrible development considering how Q, Rodon and Anderson were the 3 most important members of the franchise coming into 2017.

At least Melky's back over a 700 OPS...gets it up to 750+ and he'll be a lot easier to trade without eating so much salary.
