CubKilla
Hopefully by Wednesday, JM is gone and the Cubs are down 2-0 before the day ends
witesoxfan
Hopefully by Wednesday, JM is gone and the Cubs are down 2-0 before the day ends And the Twins would be down 2-0 as well(if they play twice before then)
CubKilla
And the Twins would be down 2-0 as well(if they play twice before then) I have a feeling the Twins aren't going to do as bad as everyone thinks they are. As of right now though, I'm a Braves fan. That's how much I f***ing hate the Cubs. I can care less about what Minnesota does.

So I am stuck between a rock and a hard place in that series.

So who cares who wins the MIN/NYY Series? I guess, if I had to choose, I'd want the NYY to win only because of the extremely remote possibility that the Assholes on Addison actually represent the NL in the World Series. It will be two pages behind the story about the ScRUB's ground crew's pregame rituals. Gotta happen on Monday or after the Braves eliminate the LL's. As far as the NY/MN series, my solution is not to watch, then cheer for the winner of the BOS/OAK series to beat whoever wins the NY/MN series. Naa.. this town loves to show our shortcommings in the spotlight. I'd guess it'll be lead story and sports page headlines. "Sox F up again.." Rex Hudler
Doesn't MLB put a moratorium on trades, announcements, etc. during the playoffs?? Or is that just during the World Series??
winninguglyin83
I believe it is just during the World series that the unofficial moratorium is in place. Should be all clear to pull the plug on Joltin Jerry today, tomorrow or Tuesday.

Papers will put it up front to show what a good manager does and a s***ty one gets the AXE and the thank god Cubs have Baker not Manuel articles.
