caulfield12
Hahn had better hope Chris Correa doesn't hack the Sox database from prison and release all the Q offers that were on the table... That said, Q has better stuff tonight, movement on fastball, cutter, depth on his pitches, etc. The problem is that rolling curve has never been a strikeout pitch. Yanks could use Frazier over Carter at 1b. Edited June 6, 2017 by caulfield12

chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 07:21 PM) Yea. It was a super bizarre play you will see it On replay it clearly didn't hit anything it just had some crazy tail on it. I have no idea why they gave him a HR. chitownsportsfan
His command is just not there so far this year and for a guy that pitches at 90-93 he needs it.

His regression defensively is scary. He looks exactly like what he was rumored to be in the minors. Have to hope this is a fluke and not last year

Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 6, 2017 -> 06:56 PM) His regression defensively is scary. He looks exactly like what he was rumored to be in the minors. Have to hope this is a fluke and not last year Or it will most likely be in the middle. Regardless, let's give him some time before jumping to any conclusions. All things considered he's an incredibly raw baseball player and things easily just click at some point. The tools are obviously there.
caulfield12
Still trying to get outs with that curve. Better to use cutter or change.
Chicago White Sox
It had to hit a wire or catwalk. Speaking of which, Paulie's inside the park homerun here is one of my favorite moments in White Sox history.

Speaking of which, Paulie's inside the park homerun here is one of my favorite moments in White Sox history. I think CF just lost the ball and his route made it look like the ball changed direction when in reality, it was tailing back due to lefty hitting it. You have to send him there, just bad fundamentals by Leury. Lost speed adjusting his helmet and looking in.
chitownsportsfan
Renteria and RV both have no idea how to use challenges effectively. God almighty, can we please get a manager that has a f***ing clue about basic strategy in the modern game?

Not to be a dick, but the video of it on MLB.com is titled "Sanchez's homer off the catwalk". To me it's clear as night and day it hit something and the first thing that came to mind was a catwalk. chitownsportsfan
TA is fine. He's been -2.5 runs according to Fangraphs. That's mediocre obviously but for a 23 year old SS coming off a +13 year it's fine. He's going to take some lumps this is a great year to take them. To me it's clear as night and day it hit something and the first thing that came to mind was a catwalk. Not to be a dick but if you watch the replay it's clear it didn't hit anything. I admittedly didn't see it live and only saw the replay before Yolmer's last AB.
