MnSoxFan
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 9, 2017 -> 11:25 PM) http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20170609 Moncada walks, Fisher 3rd homer, Fulmer on the mound, no Robert yet Collins and Basabe start day at 223 and 215 respectively, although Collins is leading Moncada in ops Bueno moved up to AAA recently to play SS. Bueno played 3B in his first game I think and LF in his 2nd one.
maxjusttyped
Feels like Collins has been slumping forever yet his OBP hardly budges.
fathom
QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ Jun 10, 2017 -> 12:27 AM) Feels like Collins has been slumping forever yet his OBP hardly budges. Yeah it's hard to spin his hitting struggles much longer. Just hasn't gotten anything going on a consistent basis. Seems like he's striking out a ton of late
caulfield12
Moncada homer on 10th pitch of ab against Medlen. 6 for last 39...but seems he is back to normal with two walks as well. #7.
maxjusttyped
HR for Moncada. I can't wait to see him leading-off every day for the Sox.
maxjusttyped
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 9, 2017 -> 07:31 PM) Moncada homer on 10th pitch of ab against Medlen. 6 for last 39...but seems he is back to normal with two walks as well. #7. His approach is so, so impressive. Obviously that's part of what makes him the best prospect in baseball, but man, it's so exciting to see someone with his tools really make pitchers work. caulfield12
Fulmer having one of his better recent starts, only a couple K's though. Era around 4.3 at the moment. Other than Jace Peterson, pretty lousy lineup for Gwinnett.
flavum
Collins hr 9.
soxfan49
Adolfo, Moncada and Collins have HR's. I'm good.
Rowand44
Maybe if Collins becomes fathom's new whipping boy like Giolito was then he'll break out.
fathom
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 10, 2017 -> 01:53 AM) Maybe if Collins becomes fathom's new whipping boy like Giolito was then he'll break out. Hey I like Collins and think he can be a starting catcher. Just don't want him to be a .200 hitter.

fathom
QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 10, 2017 -> 12:56 AM) Fisher too. And even Basabe got a hit
flavum
Collins might be that rare guy that hits better for average as he goes up the ladder. He knows the zone. Maybe the focus on defense has taken away from his hitting, but he'll go to AA next year and hit .260 with 20 bombs.

flavum
Fulmer out after 88 pitches. 5 good innings, but an early exit for some reason?
flavum
Gotta be pleased with Adams' season so far. Not bad at all.
BamaDoc
I think /hope some of Collins issues is the lack of help in the lineup. Trying to do to much on occasion cause he knows no one else will.
maxjusttyped
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 9, 2017 -> 08:15 PM) Gotta be pleased with Adams' season so far. Not bad at all. Agreed. There's definitely a path for him to eventually become a Josh Tomlin or (if things go right) Phil Hughes type of pitcher.
Rowand44
Only 63 pitches through 6 for Adams right now. That'll work.
