GGajewski18
This will be the Sox 38th road game on the season. They have only played 23 at home. To me, that's nuts.
Ducksnort
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 11, 2017 -> 08:56 AM) This will be the Sox 38th road game on the season. They have only played 23 at home. To me, that's nuts. If you think about it, if this were a playoff caliber team it would be nice. Get a decent start first half with most of your games on the road, then play the second half with the advantage to you with most games at home. Also, more fans at home becauae of the warmwr weathwr during the second half. But alas.... Anyway, Sox 20-0 when leading after 6 innings. Just need a lead guys!!!! flavum
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 11, 2017 -> 07:56 AM) This will be the Sox 38th road game on the season. They have only played 23 at home. To me, that's nuts. Yep, come home for four games, then back on the road for another week. The schedule was six at home the first week, then 44 of 66 on the road. That shouldn't happen. My theory is when the Sox decided to rebuild last year, they told the league to do what they want with the schedule, but when it comes time to do us favors, you owe us. I could be wrong, but I like conspiracies.
flavum
Conversely, after the break...from July 13-September 9, the Sox will sleep in their own beds 43 of 59 nights.

flavum
13-pitch first inning for Q. Nice. Leury had a good at bat, I see, and then Cabrera and Abreu make two outs on 3 pitches.

elrockinMT
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 11, 2017 -> 05:39 PM) Anderson just has no plan at the plate Typical offense let down. Runners at 1st and 3rd with one out. We just needed contact and Tim strikes out. He needs to cut down on that swing but I guess that will come with experience

To be fair, any other park and that Encarnacion double should have been gone. Should've been a run anyways.

fathom
Another atrocious at bat for Anderson. Taking two strikes and missing the offspeed pitch by a mile. For the love of god, have him stand closer to the plate. Edited June 11, 2017 by fathom
