The Critic
CONGRATULATIONS to Esteban Loaiza for leading the AL in strikeouts!!!
HighHeat45
Too bad that in the Cubune tomarrow it will still have stuff about the cubs winning the division and then 10 pages back will be the stuff about Loaiza.
The Critic
This "magical Cubbie season" has saved me a LOT of newspaper money. I just look at the Sox stories on the Internet and forget about buying the paper at all. Except for the annoying split-screen last night and the invasive coverage that pre-empted the LackHawks broadcast, I managed to completely avoid any mention of the Comedy Central Division champions. Spent a LOT more time playing with my kid, so THAT felt good.
southsider2k5
And tying the record for most wins by a Mexican pitcher. Frenando Valenzuela and Loiaza with 21!
Rex Hudler
Too bad that in the Cubune tomarrow it will still have stuff about the cubs winning the division and then 10 pages back will be the stuff about Loaiza. As well it should........

greg775
Roman, if you can't tip your cap to Esteban, then you are not a fan I respect at all. So answer the question: Do you praise E-Lo or bury him?? I give him an A on the season and great great job. He was incredible. Way to go, E-Lo. Hope you win the Cy. What a season for this guy! CubKilla
This "magical Cubbie season" has saved me a LOT of newspaper money. I just look at the Sox stories on the Internet and forget about buying the paper at all. Think it was coincidence that I got a free trial issue of the Cubune today? I didn't even take the f***er out of the plastic sleeve. Threw it right in the garbage.

I go to CNN.com for news and check the Sox stories and entertainment stories from the SunTimes website. Works for me. Plus, I can walk a different route to the bus stop, since I don't have to go to the gas station for the paper, and I can leave the house 10 minutes later. It's a "Win-Win" situation - THANKS, Lovable Losers!!!
Texsox
The only blemish was a couple loses when we really, really, really needed wins. What an awesome season for him.
