I love NOah. Dude didn't work on his game?

When bulls season was tanking without Rose and trading Deng, Thibs asked him to become a point guard and he DID it and was GOOD at it.

All while being the DPOY

That same DPOY got worked by Nene in the playoffs. He wasn't even close to the best defensive player in the NBA that season. He'll always have the award though.

He did, but iirc his knee was already wrecked at that point

Didn't his plantar fasciitis act up at some point? Or was that the next year? Tough to keep track of all the injuries.

That was year before, the next year was the knee being shot and then got "a minor scope" and he showed up to preseason 5 months later a different player.

Weird how so many minor operations from the Bulls org ended up turning into worse problems.

I guess this deal makes sense for both sides. Knicks get rid of the problem, Thunder get a 3rd big name and keep him away from other teams.

I like where Bulls trade Taj, Dougie and a second round pick for Cam Payne while Presti trades Kanter, Dougie and a second round pick for Melo

Cody Westerlund‏ @CodyWesterlund 5h5 hours ago John Paxson on Gar Forman: "Gar doesn't get enough credit. There's been a narrative, unfortunately, that we do everything wrong."

I barely follow any Bulls news these days knowing how incompetent the front office is. I guess now I realize that's nowhere as frustrating as how delusional the management is from top to bottom. Ask anyone outside of this team what exactly has the Bulls done right that Gar deserves credit for. He literally has not done a single thing right since drafting Jimmy Butler, from handling of coaching staff, to training staff, to free agency, to trading, and lastly drafting.

Twolves as well. You could also throw Denver/New Orleans in there to a lesser extent.

Absolutely. I was more or less talking about the West. I want Golden State to at least look stoppable even if they aren't.

Those games will be FAR more watchable than anything last season. Throw in one more injury to a GS player and this could even be a watchable season.

Additional post: strategery. Anyone want to speculate on how well Melo and Westbrook will work together?

Honestly, I don't think there will be any problem at all. Adjustments? Sure. But when the three teams, reportedly, that you were willing to waive your NTC for feature LeBron, Love, IT, Harden, Paul, Westbrook and George, that shows me that you're willing to put personal s*** aside and finally win something in your career.

Devil's Advocate. Well, Love hasn't exactly lit the world on fire in Cleveland. Is that where we think one of these 3 guys stats will go? George is playing for a contract too, so he's going to want to score as much as humanly possible.

Again, if you believe the reports, George recruited Carmelo. Why would he do that if he wanted to "score as much as humanly possible?" Why would Carmelo waive his NTC to go to a team with the reigning MVP and another all-star if he didn't want to adjust his game to win? I think you're overthinking things here.
