You forgot to mention his two steals, haha.

Glowing write up about Moncada, with video of nifty play at second as well.

Seems to be all of his problems were pressing, trying to do too much...and getting a bit frustrated with a number of hard hit balls going right at fielders. Also mentioned how opposing pitchers were limiting him to just a few hittable pitches in some games, sonhavingbthe discipline just to accept his walks and not expand the strike zone.

Hopefully I am wrong...that the thumb and wrist are both 100% healed now. At any rate, sigh of relief. And he obviously prefers the action on the infield and has the tools to play there.

Maybe Anderson moves to CF and becomes Austin Jackson Jr. for us (good version).

Dunning back under 4 era in first game of WS doubleheader...seems to have settled after rough transition to Carolina League. A hit and K through 2, down to 3.78 era.

Collins walk, Hawkins K, what else is new?

(And Mieses sounds too close to measles, not a superstar name like ROBBER).

Collins single, currently .228 and 846. Basabe two K's. (Speaking of Red Sox prospects, did anyone notice Benintendi's D isn't grading out well, only a 0.7 war so far? Devers might be the superstar when all is said and done over there.)

Hawkins bomb...on the road back to...Birmingham. Next he will go off like Avi. Well, probably not.

Dunning really getting into a good groove in this one. All the pitchers! 6/3/0/0/1/6. 3.38, 88 pitches.

DUNN Deal!!!...7/3/0/1/7, sportier 3.29 era

Seems to be focusing on command tonight, as velocity is near 90 (adjusted for slow gun)

Expect a super boring line tonight: low K, low BB, some hits, he looks pretty sharp given his approach.

Sox deserve some credit as wel. They are a VERY conservative organization overall, and have been pleasantly surprised how they have embraced the "rebuild" on social media, providing graphics and stat updates each day from top performers in the system.

Yep they sense the fans have bought in so they are doing their best to promote it

I think that it speaks volumes to White Sox fans as well. White Sox fans are showing up to the games still, and Charlotte is seeing crowds at 10,000+ on a regular basis. I know Charlotte has always been a great baseball town, but these fans are showing up to see Moncada, Fulmer, Giolito, Lopez, Delmonico and Burdi on a regular basis.

Moncada 1/2, rs, pulled a ball into LF against LHP.

The crazy thing is Charlotte hasn't gotten all their starting pitchers going in sync and building off each other's starts...they should be better than a sub .500 club, but obviously Danish and Volstad aren't top prospects. And the offense is basically composed of Moncada, Delmonico, Hayes and Ache, with May fading fast. Liriano has been pretty terrible.
