whitesoxfan99
Sportsline is having a poll for people to vote for their all time team. Some of the players on there are very questionable. Nolan Ryan the best right handed starter of all time is an absolute joke. Well anyways here is the link.Voting

The Critic
Ernie Banks is runner up for Shortstop.......BWHAAAAAAAAAA He barly even played short 9 seasons as the primary shortstop 10 seasons at first base. Don't know if that counts as "barely". At one point he had the single season record for HR by a SS - 47, I believe... He was a pretty good SS in his day, and bear in mind that he played plenty of SS in the Negro Leagues too. Banks + arrogance + cheating - good attitude = Sosa

That was my White Sox bias coming out. I'm cool with that. For what it's worth, Bill James lists Eddie Collins as the second best 2nd baseman of all time, behind Morgan. After I posted my list, I remembered somebody named Barry Bonds, who really has to be on the list. I'd have to freeze out Ted.

If you look at how dominant he has been compared to the rest of the league its almost ridiculous. He has been a much better pitcher than both Schilling and Glavine and he has been better than Johnson or Maddux.

whitesoxfan99
not to mention ... how could there be a tossup between arod and larkin????? I agree, I think that AROD is probably already the greatest shortstop of all time. Let alone of this era.
