LittleHurt05
I'm pretty sure I drafted him in a fantasy keeper league 3 or 4 years ago.

LittleHurt05
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 21, 2017 -> 12:23 PM) You must have been drunk. Yeah, usually I am at those drafts. But he was a top 100 prospect for a few years and it was a keeper league.

Are you thinking of Grant Desme? Wouldn't have been 3-4 years ago, but that dude was a 2nd RD pick, batting .288 with 31 HR, 31 2B, and 40 SB.....and then retired to become a priest at age 23. Crazy outcome after such an incredible season and talented kid.

Grant Green was pretty highly thought of way back when (I'm going purely off memory...haven't google searched), but wasn't he a highly touted SS out of USC? First round pick by the A's, hit pretty well all throughout the minors. BA #52 in 2010, #63 in 2011. He was definitely a good prospect. Prospects bust. That 2009 draft haul by Oakland resembles a lot of White Sox picks.
