ptatc
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 07:36 PM) Yeah I get the bullpen has been overworked but this is unnecessary. He's got a shutout going. He needs to get to 115 pitches or so consistently especially with the way others are only going 80 or so,

Glad to see the Q of old. after this start hes at 4.69 ERA | 4.06 FIP | 4.19 xFIP from a 5.07 ERA | 4.35 FIP | 4.43 xFIP
iamshack
QUOTE (Tony @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 06:06 PM) Jose Quintana's last four starts: 24 IP, 19 H, 6 R/ER, 8 BB, 24 K. That's a 2.25 ERA. More importantly, did he go at hitters today or was he pitching without conviction and confidence?
caulfield12
Smith and Engel playing like they belong in the big leagues tonight. Nice to see, that and the bombs. Twins are still two starting pitchers away, and missing bullpen quality. Q maybe two more starts from reestablishing 95% of his previous value...now there's just a glimmer of doubt remaining. Actually, make it one start if he can shut down his former org. the Yankees at home in the middle of the summer months next week. iamshack
Nice to see Matt bounce back with a nice night too...the thing about he and even Avi...every time they seem to struggle, they have bounced back nicely.
flavum
The road warrior portion of the schedule is ovah. 17-27 on the road 15-12 at home Those rates would work out to 76-86, but they'll probably lose 88-91 games.
