bigruss
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 04:34 PM) Damn it, the guy is just fragile. Went to HS with him, his arm only cooperated for 1 outing a week back then. Thought it was damn impressive he even made it as long as he did in the majors as a reliever, considering how fickle his arm was.
Heads22
Too bad, that could be a career ender. A shame too as it seemed that he hand found a really nice niche.
elrockinMT
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 26, 2017 -> 09:40 PM) Too bad, that could be a career ender. A shame too as it seemed that he hand found a really nice niche. He could come back stronger too. Speed was never his strong point but that split finger fastball is a thing of beauty Edited June 26, 2017 by elrockinMT
Lip Man 1
Interesting in that when it first happened both he and the Sox were saying he'd only be out a couple of days. Putnam himself said that he'd rest it for a few days and that he thought he'd be "back Sunday" which was two days later as I recall. Guy can't stay healthy, he's done with the Sox.
