NorthSideSox72
The signing of Luis Robert limited the Sox to a max of $300k per prospect for the new and following Intl amateur signing periods. But that doesn't mean they won't sign anyone - they still have millions to use. Here's a look at the two players reportedly signed by the White Sox. Likely there will be more reports coming, and the Sox may trade slots too, but for now that's two names to look at.
southsider2k5
Side note, this is incredible. I know there were conversations previously about how dangerous VZ is right now... Ben Badler @BenBadler Jul 2 As a note, in case it's not already clear, at the request of several players/families, we're not posting any Venezuelan bonus amounts today. I believe this has been the case for the last couple signing periods. Scary.

I was actually kinda amazed how many Venezuelans were in the class though. They may be signing cheap just to get the hell out.

NCsoxfan
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 3, 2017 -> 05:12 PM) Let's just stop the political talk here and now. This is a baseball thread. To be fair it's not a political statement, merely a factual comment that VZ is a socialist state.
