Concentrating on offense?

We're good at rationalizing lots of performance issues. Everyone is rushed, unless they're not, like Hansen or Dunning.

Kopech really scuffling these past few starts. Dead arm? Innings limit? Going to have to be extra careful with him, maybe skip a start at some point.

5 1 5 2 4 earned runs his last five times out. Only one earned run there due to passed ball. 75 innings now. On pace for 125ish. Overall, ip/h and k numbers are great, but 49 walks and all those wild pitches.

A lot of that going on in this organization right now.

Lopez 6IP 5H 1ER 1BB 6K

Fisher and Booker seem to be adjusting to high A.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 5, 2017 -> 10:42 AM)
For the millionth time, minor league W/L records system strength.

There's certainly a causal relationship in A, A+ and to some extent AA if you're looking top-bottom and beyond the top 15 players. It is mostly prospects who are playing the games. AAA with all of the AAAA players, not so much. Rookie leagues - a lot of players are at different stages of development; if you are loaded with college players and not winning, you are inept.

As for the system, maybe top 3-5 as far as top end talent, but it was never top 5 from top to bottom...still a lot of work to be done.

No one has ever said different.
