BigHurt3515
QUOTE (Sleepy Harold @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 05:05 PM) Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal Sources: #Brewers in talks with #WhiteSox about right-handed reliever Anthony Swarzak. I wonder what we could get for him, can't imagine it is anything good.
Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 05:08 PM) Swarzak for Ray straight up, who says no? Lol...the Brewers. But hey, it can't hurt to ask! Edited July 25, 2017 by Chicago White Sox
GGajewski18
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 05:09 PM) Lol...the Brewers. But hey, it can't hurt to ask! I know lol. What about Brett Phillips straight up? 12th rated prospect in the system, close to the majors. Could replace Melky once he's gone.
daggins
Yeah I was thinking Brett Phillips or Isan Diaz, who has seen his stock tumble this season, but I doubt it will be anything that good.
witesoxfan
QUOTE (daggins @ Jul 25, 2017 -> 05:22 PM) Yeah I was thinking Brett Phillips or Isan Diaz, who has seen his stock tumble this season, but I doubt it will be anything that good. I'd take either one. I thought Diaz was going to be a target from the Brewers in a potential Quintana trade. He seems to fit the mold of the type of player they're looking for right now. Or else this is another smoke screen and he's, in fact, going to the Cubs.

Feeky Magee
Of course it's the Brewers. Love everything they've done in their rebuild. Makes sense they'd target the best relief arm likeliest to cost least. Names I'd love: Brandon Woodruff Freddy Peralta Jordan Yamamoto Kyle Wren Jon Perrin Aaron Wilkerson
flavum
Gotta figure if Rosenthal is saying it, it's been nice knowing you Anthony.
Lip Man 1
If I was Rick I'd try to expand the deal to include Gonzales and Melky to try to get a better prospect.

SoCalSox
Per Heyman, Swarzak to the Brewers is done. No word on return.
TheFutureIsNear
He's a little old but Ryan Cordell would be interesting. Jake Gatewood too.
R.J.
Ryan Cordell is the return, per Dan Hayes. #17 on MLB.com's top 30 Brewers prospects. Edited July 25, 2017 by R.J.
