Six mill ain't too bad.

Think anybody will offer him more?

No offense to Frank, but he's not too spiffy at first base, so that

eliminates the NL.

Maybe Baltimore will fork over the dough.

IF Thomas were to leave, Los Angeles is the first place to look for him.

I'd look good in 'Dodger Blue', the cap would match my eyes. I wonder if they have a message board?

I have a feeling Frank is going to turn down the $6 million, the White Sox will pass on the $8 million, making Frank a free agent. Tellum and JR will then go back to the drawing board, and Frank will get new contract with the White Sox. He did show that he could still play first base last season. I would think his biggest problem going to the NL would be that there are a lot more bunts, and because of his bad shoulder, he cannot throw. That could really cause a lot of problems. LA is the obvious choice, Danny Evans is there, at least for now, and they need offense.

Hopefully, Baltimore is smart enough to trade for Konerko.

I'd luv to be able to steal Ainsworth or even Moss for Konerko from the O's. Dount they're that stupid though but I think Paulie will be wearing a Oriole or Dodger uniform in 2004. I even think he was resgined to that fact as well.

.230 hitters, who can barely walk, yet alone run, who have 28 GIDP even though they didn't play full-time, who are owed $16 million, don't get traded, unless you trade him for someone similar. I think we are stuck with Paulie. Hopefully the cortisone shots last a little longer next season.

For the other 4 years PK was with the team his numbers were good, did he deserve that contract? No way in hell. I believe he will be back to the .300 mark with his career average power numbers (or better) next year as those things going on in the background (stuff stated here - the house thing (my house is being rebuilt at this time so I can tell you it is intensely stressful), the engagement thing (I have never known a man to get engaged and not freak out about it in some way, shape or form). Sorry, but I have a hard time believing 4 years is a fluke and this past season is the truth.

Before someone mentions about being tossed between two teams prior to getting here, neither team needed a firstbaseman (the dodgers had Karros and the Reds had Casey) and if I understood some articles I've read, the Reds picked up with the intentions of using him in a trade.

Be that as it may, I wouldn't mind seeing PK in Dodger Blue as long as we hold onto Daubach (although, it seems he may not be interested in returning).

$6 million base, plus incentives, like this season.

If I'm all wet, the plan changed and Williams stays G.M. Thomas will exercise his free agent clause. If Danny Evans stays G.M. that's where Frank will go.

I think KW is all but gone, and Frank will finish his career here.

I don't know of Thomas having a bad shoulder at all, just a 'mental thing' about throwing from 1st to 2nd with a runner on the way. If he hit 2 or 3 in the head as they got to 2nd, it might cost a base, or a run or two, but they'd start sliding a little further out of the base path pretty quick.

I read somewhere about 10 years back, that Frank fell out of a tree or something like that as a kid. It supposedly screwed up his shoulder, and that's why he has a funky throwing motion and no confidence as to where its going to go when he lets the ball go. It might have been a football injury, I can't quite remember.
