It was a 7 pitch AB, looked like he had a plan up there and fouled off a couple, just got out guessed and he swung early in the account.

Just keep in mind Kris Bryant in his first month with the cubs had a 13.1 BB% & 32.8 K%. Yoan after that K, 13.5 BB% & 32.4 K%. Further more people looking at trends in first sub 400 PA are in for a long time.

Again, he looks like he's guessing on 2 strikes. That is a bad plan

better to be "guessing" than flaying out of the zone.

That's not necessarily true. If he is thinking breaking ball and gets heater, he guessed wrong. That happens. He has never faced any of these pitchers, he is learning them as he goes. Dude you have to stop freaking out from bat to bat, he will learn.

Fathom's not freaking out. He likes to look at technical stuff and does a good job of it as players progress/regress/maintain IMO. As far as our stud prospects (the first round types; the key pieces in the trades, not the throw ins), I'm just assuming all of them are going to be superstars. It's the best way to survive with Sox fans who are going to give them soooo much time to impress. You won't hear/see me criticizing Moncada, Rutherford, Robert, Burger, TA, Eloy, Collins and all those pitchers.

Have to listen on the radio, but Farmer with a rare great call. "Give him the Gold Glove now!" And you'd be lucky to see those in a year. He did it back to back.

I assume they were awesome plays. Video links would be great.

They were both awesome
