Balta1701
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 31, 2017 -> 03:39 PM) Wow. That seems interesting for a 5-3 team that already lacks in wide receiving depth. Apparently the Panthers' logic is that both Benjamin and Devin Funchess are big, short distance receivers is making it tough for the Panthers to stretch the field when their best 2 receivers are on the field, so they're moving the more expensive one. Balta1701
QUOTE (raBBit @ Nov 1, 2017 -> 11:16 AM) That seemed too ridiculous. Something that is only believable because of the Browns commitment to incompetence. We don't know for sure it was because they were "Celebrating" but a number of places are running the "Browns deal canceled because their papers came in after the deadline" story and I think we can believe that. Kyyle23
QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 1, 2017 -> 10:52 AM) How the hell can they tell that the ball touched the ground? It's like they made up their damn minds before even reviewing the play. It has to be indisputable evidence to overturn the call on the field, and that was anything but indisputable evidence. when he points to the ball being loose on the ground, YOU CANT EVEN SEE THE BALL

bmags
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 1, 2017 -> 11:52 AM) Does the NFL have camera angles that television doesn't have? If that's the case...show that angle in the official NFL review. They are pointing to something they in no way could say is showing the ball on the ground. It's a disgrace. CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 1, 2017 -> 09:56 AM) If that's the case...show that angle in the official NFL review. They are pointing to something they in no way could say is showing the ball on the ground. It's a disgrace. Total disgrace. They say the ball is loose just because the defender has an arm in there but that doesn't make it loose and the other " ball is loose" the picture is blurry , can't see the ball and if you could see the ball they have the yellow arrow in the way. Just add insult to injury why don't you NFL.

They called it incomplete because he dropped it well after he caught it. They realized it was unpopular so went backward trying to argue the other parts of the catch it touched the ground even though it clearly didn't. bmags
As a fantasy owner, that was very annoying. No, I should not have believed Irsay saying he play week one, but I did think when he wasn't put on IR he would be a week 4ish type player. It was clear it was way way off.
