KnightsOnMintSt
Big night for pitchers. Would love to see Giolito have a big night, especially with Acuna and Swanson in the lineup for Gwinnett.
Quin
QUOTE (KnightsOnMintSt @ Aug 5, 2017 -> 11:06 AM) Big night for pitchers. Would love to see Giolito have a big night, especially with Acuna and Swanson in the lineup for Gwinnett. Man, we would have been ecstatic with Dansby as a centerpiece for Q or Sale. And he was almost as bad as Anderson this year.
Chicago White Sox
Kopech, MLBPipeline.com's No. 12 prospect, has been locked in for Double-A Birmingham of late, recording three wins in his last four starts. The 21-year-old righty owns a 1.00 ERA with 33 strikeouts and four walks in 27 innings across those outings. http://m.whitesox.mlb.com/news/article/246...opicId=27118146
rowand's rowdies
Here's a Twitter list I put together with as many of our prospects on Twitter as I could find. Good way to follow them and interact. https://twitter.com/MrGoodTunes/lists/chicago-white-sox Jordan Stephens is offering free autographs if you send him a card and return card. https://twitter.com/J_Stephens27/status/893695264585895937 Enjoy. SoxAce
James Fegan will be at the game tonight watching Giolito if anyone wants to follow him on Twitter.
CWSpalehoseCWS
Kopech and Hensen are ridiculous. So far all their outs have come via the K...
The Sir
The AL should be terrified of a Michael Kopech who doesn't walk people. Holy s***.
fathom
Kopech command awful again. Can't be walking a batter.

Rowand44
Kopech was awesome when he was walking everyone. Now he's f***in terrifying.
BaconOnAStick
Jimenez is getting the buzz, but Kopech might be the best prospect in the system. Hell, if there wasn't such a bias against pitchers he'd maybe be the #1 overall prospect in the game. Chicago White Sox
I just want to say Baseball America should be embarrassed for not including Hansen in their mid-season top 100. That's going to look real stupid by year end.
BaconOnAStick
Also, Giolito is doing very well so far against a very talented Gwinnett squad. Arms!
Chicago White Sox
Hansen strikes out the side in the 6th to put him at 12 Ks on the night. Dude is something else.
SoxAce
W-S is on a roll. If they win tonight, that'll be 6 straight wins. I remember just a week ago, I said they had no chance of clinching a second half playoff berth. They cut the GB to 6.5 games, although Blues Creek won't lose either. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Aug 5, 2017 -> 07:18 PM) Hansen strikes out the side in the 6th to put him at 12 Ks on the night. Dude is something else. 6 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 2 BB 12 SO Good lord. Chicago White Sox
Apparently Eloy was robbed of extra bases in his previous at-bat. Kid is an absolute beast.

SoxAce
QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 5, 2017 -> 07:40 PM) Best prospect pitching night in forever for the Sox? Didn't Lopez and Kopech have 10+ K games a week ago or so? I remember Dunning pitching well too. EDIT: Yup. 7/26 games thread.
