southsider2k5
Yankees trail the Twins early 1-0, on a Shannon Stewart double and Rivas sac fly.
southsider2k5
Santana is apparently hurt, and is pulled out of the game. Rick Reed into the game in the 5th with the Twinkees still leading 1-0.

aboz56
Bad move by Gardenhire using the bullpen up in game one. Gotta leave Reed out there after the double, he's a veteran. He is going to kill the bullpen.
aboz56
Jerry Manuel like bullpen management by Gardy.
Harry Chappas
Jerry Manuel like bullpen management by Gardy. There is an off day tomorrow. Use them all, when was the last time they played a meaningful game, courtesy of the Chicago White Sox. Hawkins and Guardado two innings each and they go home. I do agree with leaving Reed in there though.

aboz56
Santana officially listed as day to day. Should make his game 4 start. Twins go up 3-0 on some sloppy play in the field by the Yankees. Georgie Porgie is gonna be pissed after this one...
aboz56
This just in. If the Twins win this series, Brian Cashman will be replaced by George Castanza in the Yankees front office.

aboz56
I'd say this is Romero's last hitter. Latroy Hawkins, the Gagne of setup men, is ready in the pen.
