BlackSox13
Yeah, what flavum said. I thought Colon would at least keep the Twinkies in the game.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 20, 2017 -> 02:00 PM) Twins suck in NY no matter the roster. Can we just skip to Astros-Indians and Nationals-Dodgers and send everyone else home? I'm anticipating another choke by the Dodgers honestly. And Nats need to get Harper ready. Would honestly suck to watch the Cubs play them without him. Edited September 20, 2017 by soxfan2014

flavum
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 20, 2017 -> 03:49 PM) You're already giving the Astros the series over Boston? I'm not. Just a preference, not a prediction. Honestly, in either league, seeds 1-4 are worthy. If the LCSs have Red Sox, Yankees, and Cubs, I'm out. flavum
QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Sep 21, 2017 -> 09:30 AM) Wouldn't cubs Dodgers be the division series? Unless the Dodgers blow a 3.5 game lead to the Nationals, it will be Nats/Cubs and Dodgers/Wild Card. Divisions don't matter anymore. It changed when they went two wild cards. Mods- can you change thread title so it's more general to both leagues? Thanks.
flavum
Angels fall to .500. KC comes to Chicago with a fighting chance. Nobody wants it.
LittleHurt05
The Yankees are gonna win 90+ games and lose a one game coin flip to a .500 team. ?
flavum
The Twins have a 3.5 game lead on the Angels and Rangers. Their Magic Number is 6, and they have five games left with the Tigers. Only 5 AL teams are over .500.

BlackSox13
Just checked Fox for their Saturday ball game. Looks like people in the Chicago area get stuck with the cubs @ brewers. Would rather watch the Angels @ Houston.
flavum
Well, the Twins and Yankees will be playing a week from Tuesday night. Winner will play the 1 seed. AL 1-Seed: Cle - Hou 1.5 Indians hold the tie-breaker, so really 2.5 MLB 1-Seed: LA - Cle 1 Hou 2.5 NL WC2: Col - Mil 1 Stl 1.5 That's all that's left up in the air for the postseason. BlackSox13
Hoping the division series' end up looking like this. ALDS Indians vs Yanks Astros vs Red Sux NLDS Nat's vs cubs Dodgers vs DBacks
flavum
Agreed, and I hope all the teams on the left win. If the Yankees, Red Sox, and Cubs make the LCS, I'll have no interest unless Sale and Quintana faced each other in a WS game...and even then, maybe won't watch. Yep, except I kinda prefer AZ knocks LA out in the in the division series. I won't b**** if the Dodgers advance though. Should be good either way. I'm with ya on the BoSux, I just can't root for them despite Chris Sale. Ugh, a BoSux vs cubs WS would be the f***ing worst. I would not watch that series. Hoping it looks like this... ALCS Indians vs Astros NLDS Nat's vs AZ That's perfect for me. No cubs or BoSux.
iWiN4PreP
The only teams I have no interest in are the Red Sox and Astros. Also, I can't root for STL. I will be rooting for the Wild card Twins, Brwers (if they make it, or Colorado) and Arizona as my #1 spots. Next, I wouldn't mind the Yankees or Cubs or Indians. And I prefer LAD/NATS over the teams I don't want to win . As someone who lives less then 2 minutes away from Wrigley, I am ready for the playoffs! Love having my window open and hearing the games. That's great news. Always want teams to be as full health as possible in the playoffs. Produces the most credible and reputable games. Harper is a player that needs to be healthy.
