KipWellsFan
Anyone know what this guy is doing this year? Is he playing for the Blackhawks, or drug rehabbing?
Chisoxfn
Did he get suspened for the entire season? If so does he still get paid?
KipWellsFan
Ahh man he's on my fantasy team (autopick draft). Any sense in keeping him?

southsider2k5
Ahh man he's on my fantasy team (autopick draft). Any sense in keeping him? No. He is done. He has a long NHL suspension to serve at the very least.
BridgeportHeather
It's up to the comish as to when he can play. Fleury can't even practice with the team while on his suspension. Fleury shouldn't be with the team until December at the earliest, I'm thinking.

DBAHO
That can't happen unless he's relieved of his contract with the Hawks. Yeah I doubt cheap ass Wirtz would buy out his contract somehow. Oh please will Roman Abramovich buy this team!!!!!!
YASNY
No reason we couldn't trade his rights to the Flames.
DBAHO
No reason we couldn't trade his rights to the Flames. Hmm, get nothing much though, prob a mid to late round draft pick at best. We'd hav to pay some of his contract as well I'd think to make any sort of deal.

DBAHO
So ... what are we getting out of now. And we are paying his entire contract, aren't we? Well he was put on waivers near the end of last season, and no-one wanted to take his contract, so I think we should just cut our lossed, rebuild with da young guys like Ruutu, Vorobiev and build a winner like Ottawa and Vancouver has. As long as he is suspended he isn't getting paid. And he won't get paid until he gets reinstated.
Texsox
Shall we put together the all-substance Hawk team? Probert has to have a starting slot along with Theo My disgust for Wirt$ and Pully( Pully my head out of worstz's ass) has continued as strong as when I was in Chicago. They are the worst things that have ever happened to Chicago sports. Pulford makes crumbs look like a f***ing genious. Chicago should be the 2nd biggest hockey town in the US (I'll tip my hat to Detroit) instead we lack behind almost everyone. :fyou them both Now I feel better. The Critic
I think Boston and Philly are still better hockey towns than Chicago, unfortunately. People seem to care more about the teams in those cities, unlike here, where the overwhelming majority of people seem to just ignore the Hawks, even during the stretches where they DESERVE to be seen. ...wonder what the free TV situation is in Boston and Philly??? :fyou Wirtz for never understanding how to BUILD a fanbase... Mathew
Everyone loved him in Calgary I think, I think it is also his home town but I could be wrong. He's from a small town in Saskatchewan called Oxbow. He is loved and hated in Calgary, not much in between and no he has no fantasy value whatsoever. NUKE_CLEVELAND
As long as he is suspended he isn't getting paid. And he won't get paid until he gets reinstated. RANT alert!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! The signing of Captain CrackBaby was nothing but a well orchestrated plot by the organ-i-zation. It was a cynical, destructive and contemptable ploy to save themselves 6 million dollars a year over 2 years and in the process, s***can 2 whole seasons. They knew goddamn well that CrackBaby would f*** up and go lapse back into rehab & they signed him anyway knowing that if he f***ed up they wouldn't have to pay him a dime. Well, they were right. He did f*** up and is putting jigsaw puzzles together right now as we speak. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me one f***ing bit if Bill Wirtz himself shoved alcohol and or drugs in his face to make him go off the wagon just so he wouldn't have to pay him anything. Call me a conspiracy theorist or a cynic, but nothing is too lowball for that son of a b****. So where are we now. The Hawks have no Tony Amonte, no CrackBaby, no defense, no offense, no goaltending and no f***ing prayer for the upcoming season. What a sorry state of affairs this has become. Dollar Bill f***ing Wirtz has alienated and destroyed his fan base all in the name of padding his own bottomless pockets. The Chicago Blackhawks won't get another dime of my money in parking, admission, concessions or merchandise as long as that cock sucker Bill Wirtz owns the team.
