Problem solved....who'd a thunk it that pornography was the root cause of all the shootings?

Great work, GOP!!!

I have no idea what kind of grocery store this woman shops at that has pornography on the shelves.

Especially in the South.

I'm guessing she means those convenience stores that used to have magazines like Playboy/Penthouse/Hustler on the top shelves in plastic wrap?

The grocery stores used to have Maxim (or similar magazines), but it has been 30 years since I would have considered looked for one (physically), lol...

Glad they figured it out.

It's also crazy that we're the only country in the world with porn.

Yes, BigSqwert.  Europe is MUCH MUCH more liberalized in this area.  Same thing with drinking a "moderate" amount of alcohol with meals.

Because of Christian backlash as well as the Catholic Church, it's (pornography) always been a "shame" and "family values" issue in America.

But go to cities like Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Paris, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Berlin...you won't know what hit you.  Or even Brazil, Colombia, etc.

Yet how many of those European countries have problems with guns/violence?

Yes. I was being sarcastic.  Of course these gun nuts will come up with every lame excuse other than guns.  They act as if we are the only country in the world with video games, porn, atheists, people with mental health problems, etc. It's always some other scapegoat but never guns,

They are setting up a commission to study safety in schools. But guns will not be discussed. Probably an NRA demand.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos on Tuesday said the federal commission on school safety set up after a Florida high school shooting won't be looking at the role of guns in school violence.

DeVos was asked during a congressional hearing whether the panel, which she is chairing, will look at guns in the context of school safety.

"That is not part of the commission's charge per se," DeVos told a Senate subcommittee overseeing education spending. "We are actually studying school safety and how we can ensure our students are safe at school."

Some guy went into the Capital Gazette offices in Annapolis, MD and killed a bunch of people.  It was reported to be 5 dead and several injured, but police have said that’s not accurate. (Didn’t say whether it was more or less)

Preliminary conspiracy theories:

It was David Hogg.

They had a training about this exact type of incident in the local area...and the 60 second response team means this was planned by liberals to (deliberately) make Trump look bad (not that it’s SO hard to do).

The newspaper was liberal, and this is the “chickens coming home to roost” over Maxine Waters.

This was a left-wing kook out to attack a conservative newspaper out of anger with the Trump administration and frustration with the Kennedy retirement.

The “filed off fingerprints” means it was the work of the deep-state (NSA/CIA/FBI) out to sabotage Trump’s agenda...to not give him an opportunity to “make America great again.”

Maryland has some of the toughest gun laws in the country, and it still didn’t stop this guy.  Conceal and carry, baby!  Everyone should have a gun, that way a “good guy with a gun” could have stopped this instead of cowering under his desk.  Trump would definitely have acted with courage and taken the shooter down before anyone was harmed.

At least Sanders was out there this time defending journalists/print media instead of fanning the flames.   So there’s that.  (Maybe they should make her think about the consequences of her actions more often....)

Dear reader: I created this page to defend myself. Now I'm suing the shit out of half of AA County and making corpses of corrupt careers and corporate entities...

It’s crazy how many signs there are just from this crazy guy’s Twitter page...these were from like 2-3 years ago.   There’s no way SOMEONE in Annie Arundel County isn’t familiar with him from a law enforcement perspective.   And HOW IN THE HELL does he have almost 500 followers?  He looks like a freaking member of Charles Manson’s cult.

I did enjoy reading one of the employees was on TV saying the building has absolutely no security. I'm assuming he was pissed at the parent company for not having better security. Good for him.

America has jumped the shark. We all hate each other. We all have easy access to guns. We have millions of people who have been on medication forever, we have angry people who have nothing to lose so they shoot kids and people in churches, newsrooms, wherever. It's too bad. Interesting this happened so soon after Sanders was kicked out of the restaurant. We all despise each other except after tornadoes and hurricanes. Then we respond in niceness. Bizarre country.

The same guy who calls out greg for quoting Rush Limbaugh and Hannity quotes Shaun King. Talk about a double standard.

Is there something not factual within the tweet I posted? I didn't think so.

Interesting that you use the Sanders incident and not, you know, the President of the US calling the press "the enemy of the American People".  It sure seems like one of those incidents has a more direct tie in than the other for why this person would feel emboldened enough to do this.

See this is the problem, honestly with both sides of the political spectrum. According to the other side of the spectrum, there are zero valid points from the opposite side. This is an issue, brought about by St. Ronald Reagan, because of the repeal of the Fair and Balanced News Act. Now, nobody knows what the facts are. To be honest, as someone who grew up in the 90s, it is really scary that all "news" has some sort of political message behind it. It needs to stop NOW. Restore this law, and start reporting FACTS as news again. ONLY THE TRUTH, not opinion. News=/=Entertainment. News=/=Politics. News=FACTS & WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave over what happened to his profession.

The problem is, when you state facts, it's considered fake news if it isn't praising Trump. The facts are, he lies a lot. Once you are caught lying, not just once, but hundreds and thousands of times over, what you say isn't taken as truth. That's true if you are in politics or an 8 year old kid. Trump invents wars with people, getting them to what his supporters would call ganging up, and it works. When people here gang up on Greg, it doesn't work to his advantage like Trump.

Facts and truth don't matter anymore. People will hear what they want to hear.

There's a f***ing mass shooting 1.25x a day in this country of course there was going to be one after that, there probably have been 8.

And Puerto Rico just spat in your face for thinking that you treated them nicely while they were literally watching people die. You couldn't possibly have cared less. It's even been pointed out to you before that you didn't care one iota about Puerto Rico and you glossed over it.
