Id bet almost anything it’s definitely happened at some point.

Sure. We have example after example after example after example of it happening with the GOP. Why's it so hard to find them on the other side? You seriously think the GOP isn't trying? Occam's Razor, folks. Works every time.

Yeah, Obama has come across as almost squeaky clean in terms of extramarital affairs...with media the way it is now, it would be pretty hard to cover up, but you never know.

I think the key for Trump is that nobody's ever considered him to be anything but "fake/conveniently religious," reinforced by his Second/TWO Corinthians blunder. So he gets a pass for his behavior/s because it's almost expected with him, it's part of the package (like the Miss Teen USA/Miss USA allegations about him watching the girls changing) that is Trump Inc.

But SoxTalk would be HARD-PRESSED to name even a few Democrats who wrapped themselves in the flag of pious religious belief/Ten Commandments/patriotism...who were exposed to be such hypocrites as we're seeing in the Moore case.

Lawmakers say sexual harassers serving in Congress

Washington (CNN)Two female House lawmakers accused sitting male lawmakers of sexual harassment and misconduct on Tuesday, including an allegation that a male lawmaker exposed his genitals to a female staffer.

Neither Rep. Jackie Speier, a California Democrat, nor Rep. Barbara Comstock, a Virginia Republican, named the lawmakers in question during a hearing in the House administration committee, but the accounts reverberated on Capitol Hill, where former and current aides have described sexual harassment as "pervasive."

This is the best one yet. George Takei says Russians are setting him up lol

This reminds me of when Liberace would sue anyone for saying that he was gay and saying things like his rivals in the music industry and gay men were trying to kill him

Supposedly Illinois government is a disaster with this as well. From what I understand the board that is supposed to be investigating claims hasn't had a leader in years, so they can't take any official actions and is up to about 3 dozen uninvestigated claims.

Yeah, there was a big open letter a few weeks back with over a hundred signatories. Sadly, and I'm not saying this as any sort of defense of Illinois, I'd imagine you get the same stories in legislatures across the country from federal to state to city councils.

Moore is doubling down.

Also,

Roy Moore challenged Alabama law that protects rape victims, documents reveal

Cases were among 10 where Moore, as Alabama’s top judge, dissented from court’s majority view and sided with alleged offenders, Guardian review finds

As chief justice of Alabama’s supreme court, Moore twice argued that the state’s “rape shield” law should not prevent alleged sex offenders from using certain evidence about their underage accusers’ personal lives to discredit them.

The cases were among 10 between 2013 and 2016 where Moore dissented from the court’s majority view and sided with alleged offenders who were appealing to the court as part of their efforts to overturn convictions or punishments for sexual crimes.

I'm planning on grilling my senator on this in 2 weeks. It will again take extraordinary courage from the victims I'm guessing. I do not see the movement from the colleagues who likely know and could truly end this now.

Fake robocall pretending to be WaPo offering money for anyone willing to make unverified allegations against Moore has been going out in Alabama

http://wkrg.com/2017/11/14/curious-robocal...ation-on-moore/

UPDATE 3:31 p.m. — The Executive Editor, Marty Baron, of the Washington Post released the following statement:

“The Post has just learned that at least one person in Alabama has received a call from someone falsely claiming to be from The Washington Post. The call’s description of our reporting methods bears no relationship to reality. We are shocked and appalled that anyone would stoop to this level to discredit real journalism.”

Another development involving the U.S. Senate race in Alabama. At least one person in our viewing area received a robocall seeking more damaging information about Roy Moore. Here is the text of that voicemail message received by Pastor Al Moore in Creola.

“Hi, this is Bernie Bernstein, I’m a reporter for the Washington Post calling to find out if anyone at this address is a female between the ages of 54 to 57 years old willing to make damaging remarks about candidate Roy Moore for a reward of between $5000 and $7000 dollars. We will not be fully investigating these claims however we will make a written report. I can be reached by email at [email protected], thank you.”

Anyone at least moderately upset about the sexier/bikini-zed versions of the Amazonian battlegear for the new Justice League film?

If you look at 300, Thor, Captain America...those movies thrive on showing shirtless men. I guess the contrast here is too obvious to pass up because you had a female director/costume designer for Wonder Woman versus two men for Justice League.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 14, 2017 -> 07:09 PM)
Greg probably heard the Rush Limbaugh said Roy Moore's behavior can be explained. He was a democrat when he was hitting on high school freshman. Now that he is a republican he would never do that.

Greg might not believe it unless he sees the actual story.

Rush Limbaugh floated a Hail Mary defense of Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore this week, telling viewers of his widely consumed radio show that Moore was a Democrat during the period when five women say he made sexual advances on them as teenagers.

“Did you know that before 1992, when a lot of this was going on, that Judge Moore was a Democrat,” said Limbaugh in comments published Tuesday. “While he was a Democrat, nobody said a word. When he supposedly was attracted to inappropriately aged girls, he was a Democrat.”

http://www.imdb.com/news/ni61724103/

Howell Heflin, fwiw, was the last Democratic senator from AL, overlapping that time period where Moore switched parties. Very simply, Dems went from controlling Alabama during the time of George Wallace to totally being shut out electorally as the Reagan Revolution/Moral Majority switched the Solid South over to the GOP. It was all about winning election/s.

Moore's lawyer held a press conference to accuse his latest victim of forging the yearbook signature and demanding that they release it for 'analysis,' claiming that they believe she lifted Moore's signature from his signature on her divorce papers.

A sixth accuser has also come forward
