This was only a matter of time. Excuse train rolling in before the series is even over... #That'sCub I guess.

Why is it so hard for the media to concede that the Dodgers are just the better team? They have been all year, and should be the favorite to win the whole thing. Is it the blind worship of Jed and Theo? This team has some holes, especially pitching.

Probably because the dodgers have been the favorite before only to fall apart in the playoffs. Nobody trusts them

The cubs and their fanbase are known for their excuses. Just ask the billy goat. " wait til next year"

Then why even play tonight? Does Maddon have to bring in the petting zoo again?

Lol. Well, kids love petting zoo's.

It took way too long for Puig to start hitting 4th.

Schwarber batting 2nd against a lefty?

Every time I saw a Cubs game, it seemed like Happ had an extra base hit, yet he can't find the lineup. Not sure what side he's stronger, but he is a switch hitter, which Schwarber is not.

Wonder if Happ refused to have a drink of wine with Maddon and got in the dog house or something.
