Balta1701
QUOTE (FloydBannister1983 @ Nov 1, 2017 -> 10:25 AM) I would take Jack Morris vs. John Smoltz 0-0 going into the 10th inning any day of the year over a 13-12 mess of a game. The three games at Dodgers stadium have been handed to the bullpens with 1-1, 1-1, and 1-0 scores in the 6th inning.
southsider2k5
Austin Karp @AustinKarp 3h3 hours ago Fox drew a 15.1 overnight rating for Astros-Dodgers last night. Best for any World Series Game 6 since Yanks-Phils in 2009 (15.5)

I'm aware of that. I would take those games over a 13-12 mess any day of the year.
BlackSox13
Any predictions on tonight's last game? Dodgers win it all and Joc gets the MPV.
flavum
I feel like if the Astros only try to hit homers, the same thing is going to happen tonight that did last night. They might get one, but that's about it. Altuve and Correa have to be stars tonight, or LA will be winning.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I suppose. It was a yawner to me. Guys hitting home runs off bad relievers never interested me. soulfly
QUOTE (FloydBannister1983 @ Nov 1, 2017 -> 04:35 PM) Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I suppose. It was a yawner to me. Guys hitting home runs off bad relievers never interested me. Agreed. It was a sloppy trash game. Sad it was being talked about as one of the best. Take away the nonsense with the balls the way they are and this is a pretty lackluster WS. Which is a shame, because they are two good teams going at it. But so far, the hype seems to be for the casual baseball fan thinking that high scoring slop fests are amazing.

bmags
Can’t wait for a monotone declaration from Joe Buck in the last out.

Panerista
Why does it seem like everybody here is pro-Dodgers? Why would you ever pull for the Dodgers? They're basically the California Cubs.
BigHurt3515
How long are they going to keep McCullers out there?
Buehrle>Wood
Houston/McCullers broke the world series recording for most hit batters in a game. That was before they even recorded 7 outs wow.
OmarComing25
McCullers actually pitched worse than Darvish, he just got super lucky.
