Soxnfins
Sucks man. I remember every time the Sox went to Toronto dreading to face Doc. Had one of the best back door Curves I've seen.

smalls2598
That's horrible news. Roy Halladay was one of my favorite players, he was just so damn good. I would try to mimic his pitching motion when I played wiffleball. RIP. Edited November 7, 2017 by smalls2598

oldsox
Greatest baseball player to come out of Colorado. Graduated from suburban Denver high school in 1995, #17 overall pick. Lots of stories were written there about Halladay over the years, all of them complimentary. He would have looked great in a Rocky uniform. Future Hall of Famer. bigruss
RIP Roy, if he pitched in NY or BOS he would have been a straight legend. Seems like a disproportionate amount of celebrities die in plane crashes, or maybe they are just more memorable.
LittleHurt05
QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Nov 8, 2017 -> 07:31 AM) RIP Roy, if he pitched in NY or BOS he would have been a straight legend. Seems like a disproportionate amount of celebrities die in plane crashes, or maybe they are just more memorable. I think celebrities are just way more likely to fly small planes, which crash more often. Halladay was flying in the first 2018 model of this Icon plane, I wonder what happened with such a new model.
