Pretty sure we are only going to go after the bullpen scraps left in january. It was reported the other day that teams still in contention were after him. Figured we had no chance if that were the case and apparently it was.

Right....because Rick (The Cub Fan) Hahn is trying to destroy the team for all eternity! Robertson sure would have propelled the Sox into playoff contention in 2018...you betcha! WBWSF
QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Dec 15, 2017 -> 12:05 PM) Right....because Rick (The Cub Fan) Hahn is trying to destroy the team for all eternity! Robertson sure would have propelled the Sox into playoff contention in 2018...you betcha! I've heard Steve stone and Frank Thomas both say that they think the White Sox starting rotation could really be good AND soon. If Fulmer, Kopech, Lopez, Giolito and Rodon actually all pitch well in 2018 this team could be a team that can surprise people. That being said, who does the team have in the bullpen to save games? I viewed the Robertson trade as nothing but a salary dump. I would had Robertson stay on the team instead of what the team has in the bullpen now. Pretty much the one thing we can guarantee about any player on the team next year. Edited December 15, 2017 by soxfan2014

Dick Allen
QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 15, 2017 -> 02:46 PM) Is he even throwing yet? When would he get here like July? He was supposed to be ready for spring training. He had a re-positioning, not a re-construction. His UCL was fine, but scar tissue was causing a nerve problem.
