KnightsOnMintSt
I believe this to be true. Once considered a virtual lock to be the top overall pick in the draft, and is now clearly living up to that hype. Made the jump for Low-A to Double-A in one year. Really think that he could be a guy that we see in Chicago in September. It just doesn't seem like he gets the love that he should. I think he should be the 4th ranked prospect in our system, and somewhere in the mid-30's overall.
southsider2k5
His results have basically been ideal. His control has come around, his K totals have stayed very high, and he is putting up innings at a high rate. He should be a top 100 prospect IMO. Currently ranked 91st by MLB, and I still think that is too low for him.
OmarComing25
QUOTE (KnightsOnMintSt @ Jan 5, 2018 -> 10:17 AM) Currently ranked 91st by MLB, and I still think that is too low for him. To be fair that list hasn’t been updated for 2018 yet I don’t think, it’s from mid-season last year. I expect him to be higher on the updated list. Squirmin' for Yermin
I have him as our third prospect (Eloy, Kopech, Hansen, Robert). I think he will be around top 50 when they release new lists and top 25 by the midway point next year when they update them. He is going to be a fast riser up the prospect boards. How I rank our top 10 prospects including those who came up last year (Moncada, Eloy, kopech, hansen, robert, giolito, lopez, Cease, Berger, Dunning). I could be missing a name there... but yes, i love hansen and am with you that he is underrated

Barring injury, I'd be surprised if he didn't make a 2019 appearance. He's one of the reasons I think we're a 100 win team on paper in 2020. southsider2k5
As of today I would mark Hansen as the 2nd best pitching prospect in our system behind Kopech. I think Hanson has top of the rotation stuff as long as his new found control stays with him. If he doesn't blast through the system too quickly, he could be a top 25 overall prospect by the time he isn't qualified as a prospect anymore. Before he had issues in college, he was thought of as a potential 1-1 pick, and since he has gotten into the Sox system he has done nothing to disavow that ceiling.
