StrangeSox
It seems weird to loudly assert your authority to pardon yourself for all the crimes you definitely didn't commit. If the President really does have that power (and he might!), he could openly murder someone in DC and pardon himself and never be held accountable. Could also commit a wide range of lesser crimes, like say taking bribes.

greg775
Sports and politics mixing so much is kind of divisive. Not gonna change with Trump in office unfortunately. It's probably best the teams don't go visit. Just think if they visited the White House and snubbed Trump while on the grounds? Or gave speeches blasting Trump, etc. Even more divisive. caulfield12
Don’t forget the pay for play lobbyist involvement in $100k+ trips to Morocco and Italy. The luxury pen purchases. Soundproof booth which is actually illegal. Help with apartment searching for him and his wife. The $50 per night sweetheart apartment owned by another lobbyist and his wife...or maybe it’s a female lobbyist, can’t keep track. Wasn’t he also the one that spent tens of thousands for new office doors...or was that Carson?

caulfield12
The quietest member of the Trump family over the last year has certainly been Ivanka, favorite child and a White House staffer. But today, Anthony Cormier, Jason Leopold, and Emma Loop of BuzzFeed have an interesting story about Ivanka Trump’s involvement in a potential deal with Russia that, while it may not suggest anything illegal, does offer a window into how the Trumps were operating long after Donald Trump decided to run for president: Amid intense scrutiny of contacts between Donald Trump’s inner circle and representatives of [Russian President] Vladimir Putin, Ivanka Trump’s name has barely come up. But during the campaign, she connected her father’s personal lawyer with a Russian athlete who offered to introduce Donald Trump to Putin to facilitate a 100-story Trump tower in Moscow, according to emails reviewed by BuzzFeed News and four sources with knowledge of the matter. https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2018/06/06/the-trump-campaign-was-all-about-making-money/?utm_term=.1f9dc2f4d98b
