Rex Hudler
Think Billy liked that bunt? He hates sacrifices, not bunts for hits........
DonkeyKongerko
"No one in the ballpark expected that to happen" is usually an expression but I think it's true this time. I mean the Catcher of the A's BUNTING??? WOW this is a HUGE lift for A's winning a game that Pedro started. I say Boston does not bounce back from this one. Harry Chappas
Funny thing about that play was the first thing that went through my head was would Konerko, Lee, Ordonez, Thomas, Crede or Valentin have tried that to win the game????? Winning should always be everything.
DBAHO
Man is Boston's bullpen shaky or what. Kim's imploding in da playoffs again, and Foulke pitched 3 scoreless innings for em in that game.

I love watching him play, I am looking forward to seeing the play, I went to bed in the 7th last night. That must have been some call to bunt. witesoxfan
Damn, it ended at 2:00 in the morning? It's a good thing I went to bed. I barely got up as it was and I watched until Lowe came in.

I wasn't gonna turn that one off till it was over. Good thing I'm out on the west coast...so I was still able to get up at 6:30 and get ready to head out to school. Of course I ended up sleeping in till 7.

YASNY
Did that bunt call come from the dugout or did Hernandez just attempt the bunt for a hit? Has anyone heard?
Bmr31
Did that bunt call come from the dugout or did Hernandez just attempt the bunt for a hit? Has anyone heard? They gave him the "the situation is condusive to a bunt" sign. Almost noone bunts when given that sign, so in essence, he did it on his own. DBAHO
I think Oakland's startin to nail Boston's coffin already. Now all we need is for one of their players to do a Justin Smith style celebration.
