Chisoxfn
The same reason the Twins-Yanks were off today. It's the bulls*** NBA method of stretching out series longer than necessary so they can get all the games on TV. No reason other TV, which is crap. Think about it... The Twins got a great game from their bullpen Tuesday necessitated by the injury to Santana. Yet, because of TV, they now get an extra day to rest that bullpen. How fair is that to the other team?? I know no one has much pity for the Yankees, but it is the point. Those extra, non-necessary days off can change the complexion of a series, which I have a major problem with. Agreed...I think thats a really unfair advantage. Heck...have four games on TV, its a baseball fans dream. I think you have to keep things fair. Think if you burned down a teams pen only to have MLB let that team get their pen rested again. The season is a marathon...yet the playoffs are such much different. Chisoxfn
Wow..both teams are pulling the strings out. Is Suppan going tomorrow? Shut up Justice...he's in in relief and he's gonna have to pitch on the road. Justice is a dips***. Didn't I basically say that earlier? How interesting that Oakland tried to sac bunt, another thing Billy Beane calls stupid. And with a guy that doesn't have a sac all season. I bet Beane is breaking something right now. Maybe his pager
Chisoxfn
Two down...Singelton is on first. For Once I agree with Brantley...guy has to be on 2nd...do whatever it takes...ala Joe Crede.

My guess is after the trade deadline he starts watching cause he knows the rules stop him from blowing the team up
Chisoxfn
Well Rex...I guess Macha is just ignoring Beane tonight as he goes with the stolen base with two outs...which once again is the right call.
Chisoxfn
Inning over...Lowe whiffs Ellis. I'm guessing he pitches another inning..then they go with someone else. Well if they need another inning. HELL OF A GAME thus far
Bmr31
This reminds me of game 6 of the nba finals, bulls vs portland where EVERY borderline call went against the Blazers. Im not saying theyre bad calls.

Chisoxfn
Was talking to a buddy of mine at work (Older guy) and he was in Boston after Buckner. He said people were all out walking around after the game going...is it too much to ask for just one Championship. He said it was just ugly. I know one thing...if I were a White Sox fan and that crap happened...something would of flown through my tv.

Bmr31
If oakland fails this year, ID consider moving Harden into the closer Role and making Foulke a starter. Call it a hunch. Not that theyll do it, but that I think it would benefit Oakland greatly.

My guess is you'll see Beane finangle a trade for someone thats a stud reliever whose never gotten the opportunity to close. Then he'll put up great numbers and Beane will get more picks for him once he puts up the saves (Which is what everyone wants).

Chisoxfn
Wow...what a play by Chavez. That was amazing. Catches a freaking shot down the line and dives into 3rd just ahead of the slide to force him out at 3rd and end the inning. And I thought the game could get any better
Rex Hudler
What a freakin play by Chavez.... Diving on a ball down the line, running and then diving at the 3B bag to beat the runner to get the force.
