bmags
I'm going to guess 3 white sox. Eloy, Kopech, Hansen.
Chicago White Sox
So we’ll probably have the big 4 in this list. We had five in BA’s list. Callis hinted at six in his list. Honestly, it’s a bit concerning that we’re in year 2 of our rebuild and that’s all we got. And I’m fully aware we had three top 50 prospects graduate last year, but sucks to see Cease & Rutherford completely fall off these lists. bmags
If Law thought he'd be a late first round pick in 2017, and nobody has seen anything to the contrary since (i mean literally nothing to change minds), then I don't think he'd be in his top 100. Law has proven wrong many times about Sox prospects in the past. I don't take his rankings to heart. Fact of the matter is we had 6 guys who were infused into our young team last year and all had solid debuts. Then 5 more guys who are locked for Top 100 in most lists. Then you have guys like Cease, Collins, Rutherford, Burdi, and Burger who just missed the 100 on most lists. Oh and by way, we have the 4th pick in the next draft, and payroll savings to make a big splash in the upcoming free agency.

Prospect rankings are great and all, but what really matters is the team you're building on the big league field. Add Moncada, Anderson, Rodon, Giolito, Lopez, and Fulmer to our top 100 and just missed guys, and the Sox future looks as bright as anyone in baseball. Y2Jimmy0
I like Keith Law and generally look forward to his prospect rankings. Not ranking Luis Robert at all kind of classifies his list as irrelevant in my opinion though. Robert is one of the 100 best prospects in the game. He just is. YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
Cease and Burger should've been on the list IMO but these rankings are ultimately just opinion based, it's not a big deal.
Jack Parkman
Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if the only guys on his list were Jimenez and Kopech.
ChiSox59
If you're into counting top 100 prospects, we could very well have 8-10 by midseason as guys graduate. Jimenez, Kopech, Robert, Hansen, Rutherford, Cease, Collins, Dunning, Burger and Sheets are all top 150. I don't expect any of them to lose their prospect status until at least September in the case of Jimenez and Kopech, the rest won't see the bigs this year. They could all be on most mid season lists. caulfield12
Is Tatis, Jr., #1? In all seriousness, it will be fun to watch Law squirming when Robert becomes a stud and he has to account for why he wasn’t even listed as a Top 100 prospect. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 22, 2018 -> 04:12 PM) Is Tatis, Jr., #1? In all seriousness, it will be fun to watch Law squirming when Robert becomes a stud and he has to account for why he wasn’t even listed as a Top 100 prospect. I could see Tatis Jr being the #1 hitter on his list and Kopech being the #1 pitcher on his list (Not counting Ohtani, assuming Law ranks him). He's deeply in love with Tatis Jr, but he also really loves Kopech. And I could see him mentioning somewhere that the Sox could have the #1 hitter and pitcher on his list, but he'll rip the Sox for the Shields trade ruining that. maggsmaggs
His top 50 is up now. Eloy at 6, Kopech at 11, Robert at 46 and Hansen at 49. Here is Law's summation about Hansen: His range of outcomes remains really wide, given his variable control and command, but you can see the ingredients of an above-average starter who handles 200 innings a year. Harry Chappas
Hitting on Hansen makes me feel good but Tatis will haunt me until he is out of baseball. Our system would be........well......ugh I know I gotta get over it
