GenericUserName
25. SP Carson Fulmer, Chicago White Sox The first-round pedigree and electric stuff keep him in the top prospect discussion. However, he still hasn't taken the necessary steps in terms of his overall command, walking 78 batters across the minors and majors in 149.1 innings last season. With his max-effort delivery and spotty control, he's going to wind up in the bullpen at some point. I don't think anyone is putting him in the top prospect discussion anymore. bmags
What an incredibly stupid exercise. Michael Fulmer?
SoxAce
For those wondering to not even bother clicking on a Bleacher Report link (even I was 50/50 on it before I gave in), Kyle Schwarber was #1 on the list.
LittleHurt05
The top 3 is actually well done, those deserve to top the list IMO. Schwarber, Urias, and Story
bmags
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 08:38 AM) The top 3 is actually well done, those deserve to top the list IMO. Schwarber, Urias, and Story This list is full of the idea that players are overrated because they got injured. I'm sure if people knew in the future certain players would have devastating shoulder injuries, they wouldn't rate them so high.
Kyyle23
Those players arent even overhyped on soxtalk, much less the entire MLB

caulfield12
Schwarber is as obvious as Christian Laettner for most hated college bb player of all time.
Squirmin' for Yermin
Of course Fulmer and Rodon are over hyped.
ChiSoxJon
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 09:25 AM) http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2760549...r-entering-2018 Carson Fulmer, Carlos Rodon, Tim Anderson All first rounders that have yet to reach potential but I don't think anyone is overhyping them let alone hyping them
southsider2k5
QUOTE (ChiSoxJon @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 01:14 PM) All first rounders that have yet to reach potential but I don't think anyone is overhyping them let alone hyping them That is what I thought reading the list. Who exactly is hyping Carson Fulmer out there?
ChiliIrishHammock24
Rodon, sure. Anderson, I guess. Fulmer? What? I don't know anyone who really gave him credit as a top prospect, even post-draft.
SonofaRoache
Who are the folks overhyping those three? Carson and Tim have been labeled near busts at this point and no one knows who Rodon is.
Boopa1219
I know it’s not time for our prediction thread but... I have both Yoan and Tim going for 20/20 this year.
ChiSoxJon
QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 02:53 PM) I know it’s not time for our prediction thread but... I have both Yoan and Tim going for 20/20 this year. That's fair I think 15/15 is more reasonable for both
Jose Abreu
QUOTE (ChiSoxJon @ Feb 27, 2018 -> 04:38 PM) That's fair I think 15/15 is more reasonable for both I'd say 15/15 for Tim, 20/20 for Yoan
