soxfan49
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 05:32 PM) No he’s not Maybe I should have clarified. He is terrible at baseball. He can’t catch and he can’t hit. Is he not terrible at something else?
ScootsMcGoots
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:33 PM) Why does Farquhar pitch every game? I think his general role is middle relief. We are going to see him a lot in the 6th inning this year and for the 1st or 2nd out of the 7th. It is odd, though, because they do have Infante to fill that role as well. And I haven't seen much of him. I guess I view Minaya as more of an 8th inning guy. Edited April 5, 2018 by Scoots

Jose Abreu
QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 05:17 PM) It was mentioned earlier, but man that white on white look behind the plate, is awesome. ^
Jose Abreu
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 05:38 PM) why do we have so many middle inning lefties? You mean all 2 of them?
beautox
QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 04:38 PM) why do we have so many middle inning lefties? Honestly I'm ok with it, if we fall out of the race and the lefties perform they can possibly net some former top prospect like Casey Gillespie. chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:43 PM) You mean all 2 of them? I guess my question was more why are they pitching to so many righties.
maxjusttyped
Walk rate, strikeout rate, and exit velocity all stabilize very quickly. It's so encouraging to see Davidson making such significant strides in all 3.
ScootsMcGoots
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:43 PM) You mean all 2 of them? 3. Bummer, Avilan, and Santiago (although, he is long-relief, so not sure if you want to count him or not).

BlackSox13
Why is grass green? Why is the sky blue? Davidson hustling home from first. Burnin up the base paths to score a run! Edited April 5, 2018 by BlackSox13

ScootsMcGoots
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 06:51 PM) Tim Anderson walks twice?! wow. I'm sayin!! He's seeing the ball very well early on. In fact, him, Abreu, Avi, Davidson, Castillo and Yolmer all are. I only wish I could say the same about Moncada, but even he has had a couple big hits in this young season. Richie
Going to go out on a huge limb and guess that Anderson has never walked twice in a single game before... Perhaps indicative of a little more comfortability up there this year? We'll see - I suppose. Edited April 5, 2018 by Richie
