Just at the point where you expect the strikeout. Seems like the pitchers the Sox are facing keep making the right pitches when they need to. Even if the Sox are "threatening" still seems like they are the ones with their backs on the walls.

FYI, the right pitch is always slider.

Yeah, but the location seems to always be spot on as well. It's always slider. Always has been slider. But the slider seems to always be perfectly located, and for some reason our hitters don't look for it out of the zone.

Saying the White Sox hitters should've been sitting on the slider against Romo is like saying you should look for the cutter against Mariano.

 

Duh.

 

His slider is the reason he has been a ML pitcher for so long. Not every AB that doesn't result in a hit is "horrible" or "pathetic"
