Chisoxfn
Giants are up 3-2 in the 11th. Leadoff man is aboard and Alex Gonzalez is at the plate trying to move the runner (Conine) to 2nd.
Chisoxfn
Conine reached when Cruz dropped a flyball. Giants walk Gonzalez so runners on 1st and 2nd now with nobody out and Brower is up in the bullpen.
Chisoxfn
Marlins do small ball and runners are now on 2nd and 3rd for Luis Castillo (COME ON WHITE SOX SIGN HIM).

DonkeyKongerko
WHAT A FINISH!! How huge is Cruz's dropped fly ball??? And the Giants only scoring ONE run in the top of the 11th. Pudge has all four Marlin RBIs tonight, wow what a great finish!!

The Critic
Cruz failed to get a hit with the bases loaded in the top of the 11th which would have given them a 2 or 3 run lead, then dropped the flyball and made a s***ty lollipop throw home when he SHOULD have had a good shot at the runner at the plate. He SHOULD feel bad - that's the Hat Trick of failure in one inning.

Flash Tizzle
Even though this isnt a gameday thread, just updating the score of game 4 between Marlins, Giants. Marlins 7, Giants 5. In the bottom of the 8th. If the Cubs make it past the Braves they might just cruise into the World Series.
CubKilla
If the Cubs make it past the Braves they might just cruise into the World Series. Actually, I think the Marlins would be a better opponent for the Cubs with Beckett/Willis and Wood/Prior. Not to mention both teams are relatively young and out to prove something..... unlike the Giants and Atlanta. But the Cubs have to beat Atlanta first. Their offense arent all that great but they have awesome young pitching. That would be a must-see series. Imagine Beckett vs. Wood, Willis vs. Prior, Penny vs. Zambrano.
