Chicago White Sox
Anyone seen Lambert pitch this year? The numbers have been incredible and it sounds like he may have seen a velocity increase.
Chicago White Sox
Was Lambert scratched? Kubat is pitching for WS tonight. Also, Collins with a single & Jimenez with a double in the 1st.
daggins
Adams gave up two homers in the first. Have there been any reports on him this year? His results seem much worse than usual.

Seems like a generic mid round RHP. He's old for WS but he's dominating, hopefully his velocity did increase and his stock is up.

BFirebird
Can you imagine if all 3 guys from the Sale trade make it to the bigs? And if Basabe is a starter that trade would be ridiculous.
Feeky Magee
Only a little over a week since me and others were telling people not to worry about Collins, now his OBP is over .400. Sometimes it really is as simple as the BABIP.

It's not like he's radically altered his approach overnight.

If you’ve watched him he’s been far more aggressive at the plate and you can see that by an improved K rate but slightly refucwd BB rate. The quality of contact has also been much better. It’s great that his BABIP has improved, but come on, I’m not overly impressed by someone predicting a sub .200 BABIP is going to return to the mean. The improvement in his numbers as of late is tied to his change in approach and not some batted ball luck.

Even Rutherford has been doing well. Some of these guys are going to fail, but so far this year MiLB has been fun to follow. For those of you with MiLB subs...what is the damage and are replays available to watch if you can't watch live?

Dam8610
Is Lincoln Henzman someone they might consider promoting earlier than the AS break? He's been really good at Kannapolis, and is advanced age for the level. Is he someone they might challenge and see if he's starter material? They clearly saw his talent, so yeah, i'd say he's a potential promotion.
