flavum
Happy he isn’t being called up yet...if it’s a done deal. I wouldn’t put it past them to put off an announcement as long as possible...say Thursday.
Bob Sacamano
All Rabbit said was there would be a rotation shuffle...this appears to be it.
southsider2k5
Very happy to see they aren't pushing Kopech up yet. No good reason to do so yet. I want to see some domination first.

Yeah, skipping Santiago is like the most unexciting shuffle ever though. Oh well. The thing is is Kopech isn’t pitching to dominate. He’s laying off the slider and working his change up. He’s trying to prepare for the next level. Obviously you hate to see walks but I’m not sure the Sox are all that concerned with his stats. Walks is the one thing I am most concerned about with him. Control will be the most determining factor on if he becomes a super star at the next level or not.
Soxbadger
I have to imagine that the Sox are going to let him pitch with his full repertoire a few times in the minors before they promote him.
Heads22
There's no way he's coming up before the Super 2 deadline if we've waited this long.

Realistically it was either middle or late April, or after the draft at the earliest.
