Well that same logic is why you hated Moncada in April, and look at him now. There is objective data that tells you when an AB features a "good" result, and a 1+ month sample size is not nearly enough for these things to even out.

 

Of course Nicky's defense is awful, unlike Yoan's but that's not my point.

I didn’t *hate* Moncada. I said he was striking out too much and that he should have swung at more first pitch fastballs. Neither, to my knowledge, were incorrect although perhaps I was a tad impatient.

Delmonico has no power, doesn’t hit for average, doesn’t walk much and has s***ty defense. Of course I don’t care much as he won’t be on the roster in 2021, but for the time being, it’s painful to watch.
